Cookie policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. This policy explains how cookies are used on the Chiringuito Ayo website.
1. Own cookies
This website uses local technical storage to remember your cookie choice and to keep the basket temporarily on your device. That storage is not used for tracking or advertising and does not store contact or card details. The measurement and advertising cookies we do use —always with your permission— are described in the next section.
2. Google Ads advertising and measurement cookies (only if you accept)
We use Google Tag Manager with Google Ads tags. They measure visits coming from our ads, attribute conversions to the right campaign and show personalised advertising (remarketing). To do so, first-party cookies and identifiers record the ad click: _gcl_* cookies (maximum lifetime 90 days) and a _gcl_ls local-storage entry used by conversion linking.
Until you press "Accept", no advertising cookie or identifier is stored or read on your device, and you are neither identified nor added to advertising lists. To be transparent: Google tags do load from the start, but in restricted mode (Google Consent Mode), and in that state they send cookieless technical messages that let Google estimate visit volume. Those messages include technical data common to any internet request (page visited, language, device type, IP address), which Google processes under its own policies.
You can change your mind or withdraw your consent at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. More information in the Google cookie policy and its privacy policy.
3. Third-party cookies (Google Maps)
The location map is provided via Google Maps and is set to load only when you request itby clicking the "Show map" button. Until then, no Google cookie is installed. If you choose to load the map, Google may install its own cookies, subject to its policies:
4. Secure payment
When you continue to payment, the operation takes place in the secure Redsys virtual POS environment. The provider may use technical elements strictly necessary to authenticate and process the payment, subject to the information displayed on its own platform.
5. How to manage cookies
The easiest way is the "Cookie settings" link in the footer: it reopens the panel so you can accept or withdraw your consent right away, whenever you want. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). You can browse the site normally even if you reject advertising cookies.
6. Updates
This policy may be updated if the site's features change. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
